This limited edition release of our Flow Form Vessels celebrates the magic of autumn through a captivating array of patination colours and unique forms.

Each one handcrafted by us in our workshop here in Braidwood. Our series of Flow Form Vessels are individually hand fabricated in stainless steel, brass and copper using our bespoke in-house made hydraulic pressing tools that allows each vessel to be pressed multiple times. Each time the vessel is pressed it is simultaneously pushed and pulled creating a flowing rhythmic folded-form. With each additional fold the complexity of the composition increases allowing the us to intuitively decide on the final look and appeal of each vessel, resulting in an ongoing series one-of-a-kind collectable design objects.

Our Flow Form Vessels each have unique individual forming – meaning no two vases are ever alike and are in fact, impossible to replicate – resulting in truly distinctive one of a kind collectable art pieces that celebrate the distinctive nuances of form and finish.

About the collection
Blending the complexities of custom metalworking tooling with our approach to making in small batches, we are able to celebrate our skills in the art of production.

The Flow Form Vases each have unique individual forming – meaning no two vases are ever alike and are in fact, impossible to replicate – resulting in truly distinctive one of a kind pieces that celebrate the distinctive nuances of form and finish.

Guided intuitively by our hands, each vase is formed through a sequence of hydraulic pressing to create their fluid flowing lines. Once formed, we undertake a sophisticated finishing sequence that broadens the character of each piece, with patination creating the final step of distinctiveness. Each vase is finished with a thin layer of wax to illuminate and protect the surface.

Care Notes
Functional as a vase, however never leave stagnant water in the vessel beyond the life of your flowers. To clean, simply wipe with a damp soft cloth. Never use any abrasive cloths or harsh chemical cleaners on the vessel as this may damage the surface. A little soapy water can be used to clean fingerprints and the inside surface if needed, use sparingly and with a soft cloth. Always dry your vessel immediately after washing, never leave water droplets on the surface to dry as these can permanently mark the surface.

Our stainless steel vessels are finished with a thin coat of stainless steel cleaner to help repel fingerprints and this can be used to remove new fingerprints.

Our brass and copper vessels are sealed with a clear lacquer coat to protect the surface and our patination finishes, care should be taken not to damage this coating in any way.

Packaging
Each piece is carefully wrapped and packed for shipping so that it arrives with you safely. We pride ourselves on the presentation of our pieces and include our care notes card and brand information card with details about us.
